Ellery is almost 23 months and as the days get shorter…it seems things are moving faster and faster. There are so many things I want to remember about this time.
Some favorite words and phrases:
“I do it!”
Ellery loves being outside and playing with the ball. She loves her babies SO much and mimics so much of what we do with her. It’s amazing to watch. She wants to help and do everything we do, hence the “I do it!” phrase. She’s definitely entering toddlerhood and has strong opinions and feelings. She will now look at us when we are doing something and ask us what we ask her, “good?” “momma, good?” It’s quite endearing.
She loves “visiting” Mach at his at home office. She will say “Dadda, working? I see…” Then we have to go up and say hi and give kisses.
She’s been so great with her new cousin Nora. She loves giving her kisses and wants to hold her all the time. It’s making me feel much better about having a second on the way very soon. It’s been great practice for her.
On the pregnancy front, I’m in the middle of my 28th week and had my first Doctors appointment this week with our new OBGYN. I’m feeling more settled and with our appointments being every two weeks now, I think the reality of baby #2 is going to happen fast! I feel good…but big! I’m definitely growing a large babe (again!) It’s getting harder and harder to carry Ellery around and rock her at night as my tummy grows. I’m looking forward to getting to a few prenatal yoga classes now that Summer is over. I can’t believe it’s the 3rd trimester already!
