As life would have it, I started a post for Everett’s 3rd Birthday (on December 5th) and never posted it. (Sorry, Ev, love you!)
Darling, Ev. You are one of a kind. Our reigning “prince” of the family.
You’ve done and experienced a lot at your young age of 3. You have an older Sister, a younger Sister and you’ve somehow made your mark known from the beginning.
You just braved adenoid and tube surgery a few weeks ago. After being diagnosed with some hearing loss and a speech delay, we decided it was the right move. You were so brave and handled it all with ease. You work really hard at speech therapy and we have no doubt any delay will soon be a distant memory.
Athletics, balls, sports, etc…are still one of your favorite things. This year you played Soccer, tennis and are trying your hat at skiing and ice skating. We love to watch you try all these new things. You’re much braver than your Mom :)
You adore Ellery and the two of you play for hours together. It doesn’t always end in rainbows and butterflies but most of the time it’s really awesome to watch. I love how you both interact with each other and find ways to play things you both want to play. You are growing more and more in love with Edie each day. You love when she tries to do what you’re doing or follows you around.
We love your laugh and your mischievous ways. You are so curious and adventurous but still so loving. Your silliness is completely addictive and the perfect balance for our family.
We love you, little tuna nuna and can’t wait to see what 2018 brings for you!
