Biscuits in the Oven

hello, old friend.

October 11, 2015

it’s been lightyears since I’ve last blogged.  I can’t even come up with a completely reasonable excuse other than I don’t really have any free time until it’s about 9pm and at that point my brain is complete mush.  I’m not even sure I would be able to tell you what I did that day.

Everett is as busy as ever-took a step the other day! I can’t believe 10 months have come and gone since he was born. He is struggling with teething.  I feel like there’s another tooth about to pop through any day and in the meantime, no one is really sleeping at night.  He is so big and still such a love.  He clocked in around 99% for head, height and weight at his 9 month checkup.

Fall is in full swing-Ellery is in school and maturing so quickly.  She is wilding smart and funny.  I love spending time with just her because she’s already such a fun girl to be around.  We are celebrating her third birthday coming up with a full on Princess Party!  Lots of photos and details to come.  (Teaser-Anna and Elsa may be making an appearance :)

  • This is the last weekend to see Merillee Mannerly @playhouseonpark! There aren’t many rainy day activities that the entire family can get excited about so take advantage.
  • happiest 5th birthday to the boy who is almost always smiling, climbing, flying or just finding more ways to make the day more adventurous in general. He is a constant reminder of how life is just better when we have add a little more fun to our day. I love you to the moon and back, Ev! happy five years! @maciejlabinski
  • CLEAN Friday starts NOW! (Link to holiday faves in profile!)
  • guess what’s for dinner!?
  • extra naughty these days. too bad my @rothys shoes are basically indestructible, even for coop.
  • Meet “Artemisia Gentileschi”. A beautiful and strong Italian Baroque painter from the 1500s. She was one of the very first female painters recognized for her talent during an era of mostly male artists. So proud of Ellery for participating in her first Mystery History with a full oral presentation in front of the classes as Artemisia. #womenareawesome
  • seven in what felt like seven seconds. happiest birthday to one very first babe. she’s literally the best big sister and truly makes me a better mother and person daily.
